The Quest for the Holy Grail

Some say the Holy Grail is the grail used by Lord Jesus for his wine at the Last Supper with his disciples; other say it is the grail St. Joseph used to catch the Lord's blood from his wounds when he was dying on the cross. The Christian belief is if one drinks from the Grail, he will gain eternal life. Some people spend their whole life-time researching the history of the actual Grail and trying to establish its where-about. Others set out actually looking for it in a quest for 'eternal life'.
I'm not a Christian myself and therefore neither historical facts nor its physical locality really interest me. Instead I think any sincere seeker of 'eternal life' should seek within rather than without. Could it be that the Grail is actually a living part of our own organism where the elixir of life may be extracted?
In Taoist alchemy, the cranium of our head is called a crucible and the trunk of the body 'the furnace'. The 'firing process' within the body sets off cooking which sublimates the carnal vitality and chi (energy) to rise up into the summit of the brain; this would trigger off certain chemical reactions in the brain which then produces a fine substance like sweet dew to be released into the bloodstream thus bestowing youth and longevity to the adept.
A couple of days back, there was another first-page story on the Daily Mail proclaiming victory of scientists who've successfully manufactured some 'magic pills' (another one!) for heart disease and it 'only costs £1.40 a day'! After some calculation (which always hurts my brain), I've worked out that these life-saving pills would set the patient back £500 a year. Suppose this is not the only condition the patient suffers and he is really on some other pills, the cost of medication could easily double or even triple! I used wonder why the media never encourages people to become self-healing, self-regulating, self-reliant for their own health and well-being. The answer is simple: money. Everything in this society is driven by money, health care and food industry included. The industries don't want to empower the individuals; they want to turn the population into a 'magic pill race' to allow the industries to squeeze every penny out of us.
I, for one, is never going to fall for that trap!
